Schwab raises $1.3 million in GOP bid for Governor
OVERLAND PARK — Republican Scott Schwab issued a statement regarding fundraising efforts in his bid to be the next Governor of Kansas. Schwab raised more than $1.3 million in contributions for the period ending December 31.
“These results show support for the only conservative in the race with a comprehensive plan for addressing the Kansas property tax crisis. Kansans want a leader who will do more than share hollow rhetoric about issues, but put forth solutions that put the taxpayer first,” Schwab said.
“I am humbled by the support I have received from Kansans, and I am confident that my campaign has met the requirements necessary for the next step in this race. I look forward to seeing you all at the GOP debate later this month in Wichita.”
A complete campaign finance report will be submitted later this month to the Kansas Public Disclosure Commission. For more information about the campaign and Schwab’s BALD property tax plan, click here.
